The time is here

To write again

Such a loving thrill

Pairing paper with pen

There are lots of thoughts

Writing line after line

I can’t help but wonder

Is the next big idea mine?

I could write all day

And again all night

But produce nothing

To bring a reader delight

When you read some work

You often don’t see

The hours of work put in

Accompanied by a cup of tea

You may think it easy

To find a great theme

Or you may believe that

Most authors are just letting off steam

I’m determined to find

That one perfect idea

It is starting to take shape

Not yet very clear

Writing is my choice

My time is near

That’s it I have got it
